Sarah Kimber Qigong

My experience…

I have been practising qigong for over 14 years, taking my main Qigong Teacher Training with The Shiatsu College, London from 2015-17.

I feel enriched by the connection qigong gives me to my own health and wellbeing. I enjoy running thriving community classes in a number of locations around Hastings and beyond and have taken my classes online during during COVID-19.

I regularly take new training courses and continued professional development in my qigong practise/ teaching.

Some of the forms I have trained to teach, and those I draw from include Shibashi Set 1 and 2 with Sifu Wing Cheung; Primordial Qigong from Micheal Winn; and, Four Golden Wheels, Three Treasures Standing meditation 8 cycles of movement with Robert Peng. I am also taking a two year course with Sifu Anthony Korahais and have learned 8 brocades, 12 treasures and more.

My classes…

Community classes are well attended, with participants’ ages ranging from 40 years old to 97. The groups promote connection in the community, fitness, wellbeing and stronger health. I also run classes at lunch clubs, residential homes and in different community settings.

Art and creativity…

I am also an artist and enjoy bringing an element of creativity to some of my private sessions to encourage connection to the senses, nature, colour and the wider world. This can be outside, in yurts and different natural settings.

My personal style…

I have worked in personal assistant roles, supporting people with a variety of needs and am used to working with varying levels of mobility and wellness.

Why I love running classes…

I’ve learned that class participants find qigong an easy way to make themselves feel better and this is wonderful to witness. You can have great results without having to have any expertise.

Feel free to explore my site and read my testimonials or get in touch with me about classes if you would like to chat.

Thank you, Sarah
